 Project Brief

Canon wanted to demonstrate the truly exceptional color quality of its varioPRINT iX sheetfed inkjet press, primarily the ability to print bright, vibrant colors without sacrificing speed or flexibility. The sample pieces also needed to showcase how the press offers superior versatility in printing color photography and text. 

 Solution

World of Color is a multi-piece print campaign that includes a catalog and series of postcards to help printers and designers explore the stunning color quality of the varioPRINT iX in two different applications. 

Printed using Canon’s cutting-edge water-based ink, iQuarius, the catalog includes color wheels and text in a range of fonts, sizes, and colors to help users experience the color definition and clarity that’s possible on the varioPRINT iX. The postcards feature full-color photography to help demonstrate how the inkjet press can produce crisp, vivid images in any print format. 

The end result is a varied, dynamic inkjet print sample that helps designers and printers alike understand exactly how the varioPRINT iX can help take digital inkjet print to a whole new level of quality and creativity.
