Gloss-Coated thINK Ahead 2024 Attendee Guide Trifold

thINK Ahead, an annual gathering of Canon production inkjet customers, was celebrating its 10th anniversary, so the print materials at the event needed to be showstoppers. Perhaps most important was the attendee guide. To impress a group of print professionals, the guide needed to be over-the-top.

Solution

The thINK Ahead 2024 attendee guide contained all the information eventgoers needed to have a great conference — the event agenda, information about the keynote speakers, session information, maps, and more. We chose a trifold format so that we could pack in maximum content while making it easy for attendees to slip the guide inside a notebook or a backpack without bending it. 

To grab the attention of print service providers, we printed the guide on Sappi Opus Gloss 100 lb. Cover then gloss-coated the entire piece. Vibrant colors combined with extra-special finishing techniques created wow factor, while also showing attendees the level of color and image quality that can be achieved with the Canon varioPRINT iX sheetfed inkjet press. 

Event information was also available via the thINK Ahead app, but attendee feedback indicated that people enjoyed having their choice of format — print, digital, or both — as they navigated the event in real time.
